Steve Schofield is a co-founder and managing partner at Maximo Law, PC. He’s dedicated to helping individuals who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence. Steve began his legal career in criminal defense, where he gained invaluable courtroom experience and won multiple jury trials. He then transitioned his focus to personal injury law, joining a well-respected firm in Northern California. He quickly rose through the ranks to become partner, achieving significant success in securing favorable outcomes for his clients.

Motivated by a desire to provide even more personalized attention and exceptional representation, Steve co-founded Maximo Law, PC. He is committed to ensuring that every case receives the dedication and expertise it deserves.

Steve graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Boyd School of Law in 2010, where he served on the Law Review. During law school, he also dedicated his time to advocating for those in need through his work with Clark County Legal Services, the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, and the Family Violence Law Center in Oakland.

Fluent in Spanish, Steve enjoys connecting with Latino communities all over California and is particularly fond of visiting Mexico City.

Steve and his lovely wife have been married for over twenty years, and they have three children. He would be the first to admit that he owes any success he has had to the support, love, and inspiration he receives from his family and his friends.
